We are looking for a Software Product Engineering Intern to own and drive the system engineering, product
documentation, third-party product integrations, and verification and validation functions, to bring to market
innovative end-to-end Lidar Detection Technology software solutions, thereby accelerating the global
automation revolution for a safe and efficient future. This position will be reporting directly to the VP of Product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
➔ Serve as a critical bridge between the field and our internal teams. You'll gather and distill customer
feedback and share insights with the product management and engineering teams to help shape the
future of our product roadmap
➔ Develop system-level use cases, break them down into sub-system/product components, and
establish a test bed. Define and execute verification and validation test plans for the identified use
cases
➔ Design and build proof-of-concept (POC) solutions and custom demos that showcase the power and
flexibility of our product. You'll be the expert in integrating our product into a customer's existing
technology stack
➔ Build value-add integrations between Lidar detection platform and Video management systems such
as Genetec and Milestone
➔ Empower the sales team by developing and maintaining technical sales assets. These include demo
environments, presentation decks, data sheets, unique data sets for ML algorithm improvements, and
best practice guides
➔ Triage customer-reported bugs, diagnose issues in the existing product, and identify the root cause of
problems

EXPERIENCE:
➔ Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. or a recent graduate, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, Computer Science
➔ Previous internship or project experience related to manufacturing, robotics, or electro-mechanical
systems
➔ Experience with a scripting language like Python for test automation or data analysis
➔ Be able to roll-up sleeves and do mechanical fit up and installs
 

The base pay will be dependent on your skills, work experience, location, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for equity & benefits. ($30-45/hr)
